I’ve always been a fan of Halloween (It’s even my anniversary!), so to commemorate the season, I’m posting one of the classic Leaguepodcast pieces from back in the day. I don’t remember the exact year, but The League recorded one of our Oddio Comics for Halloween. This one a classic pre-code, horror comic by Steve Ditko from Strange Suspense Stories #18 titled “What Was In Sam Dora’s Box?”
I put John’s amazing edit to scans of the pages (thankfully, a royalty-free comic) that i found online. The voices were all done by me, John and his wife, Jen. It was kind of a fun experiment, and it would probably be easier to do now, but at the time, it was Windows MovieMaker and a lot of time. But I was pretty proud of it, so I figured I’d post it here.
